RV Campgrounds. Essential Business?

The coronavirus pandemic has raised a lot of questions, just one being the question regarding if RV Parks should be considered essential businesses, and allowed to remain open. For full timers and travelers who rely on campgrounds to park their rig and set up home, hell yes! They are essential!

Some campgrounds have opened at half capacity, while others have had to close completely. This has left many RVers stuck in the gray – living a lifestyle unrecognized, undefined and miss understood, and thus unprotected.

Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), the largest association dedicated to RVing, has a Governmental and Legislative Affairs Committee that is working to have RV parks reclassified as essential businesses and be allowed to remain open. FMCA encourages that it is also important for your government representatives to hear directly from you. Here is key link to make your voice heard:
